Coached MSMEs Introduce Local Fashion Products at Fashion World Tokyo

Several MSMEs or Jakpreneurs under the Jakarta Provincial Government participate in Fashion World Tokyo 2023 held in Tokyo from October 10 to 12, 2023. The MSMEs are Sweet Shabrina, Tenun Gaya, and Adia Lavani.

This is done to continuously develop MSMEs as the backbone of the country's economy

Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (UMKM) Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo disclosed the participation of local MSMEs in the Fashion World Tokyo 2023 exhibition is an effort made by the Jakarta Government to empower and develop MSMEs, thus they could compete on the international stage.

"This is done to continuously develop MSMEs as the backbone of the country's economy in a bid to compete on the international stage, have high competitiveness, and expand their marketing, thus they can improve the welfare of all the resources involved in it," she expressed, Tuesday (10/17).

MSMEs under Jakarta Entrepreneur Take Part at Paris Fashion Week

Sari, the owner of the Sweet Shabrina business, explained that her participation through the Jakarta Entrepreneur integrated entrepreneurship program was able to provide lessons ranging from registration, training, mentoring, licensing, marketing, financial reporting, and capital.

"The first is we can learn how to do business and the second is by joining as Jakarta Entrepreneurs, our business will progress because it is always supported to continue to develop by participating in bazaars or exhibitions and being advertised," she admitted.
